Study rooms A, B, C, and D may be reserved by UTRGV affiliates and UT Health Science Center San Antonio medical students. To complete your room reservation you will be required to confirm your booking by clicking the confirmation link inside the email that will be sent to your email account. If you fail to show up 10 minutes after your reservation time, or if a room is left vacant for more than 20 minutes, the reservation may be canceled, and the room will be made available to others.
Study rooms may be reserved up to 4 hours per day. Users are encouraged to be considerate of others and only reserve rooms for the period they will used. Reservations may be made online up to 7 days in advance. Room reservations for recurring meetings or events are not accepted.
Rooms accommodate a maximum of 4 people. Furniture may not be moved, and the seating capacity cannot be exceeded. Individuals cannot leave their belongings in a study room unattended. If this occurs, library staff will remove the belongings from the room. The removed items will be taken to campus security and held there until they are claimed. Covered drinks and small snacks are permitted in the Ramirez Library. Hot food and large meals are not permitted at any time.
Each study room has a whiteboard. No outside markers can be used on whiteboards. Items needed for boards are available at the information desk. You are responsible for damages done to any equipment in the room.
Devices may be connected to the flat panel displays for screen casting purposes via HDMI cable or Apple Airplay only. Do not attempt to pair your device or modify settings on the flat panel displays. HDMI cables may be checked out at the library information desk. If you need assistance, please ask library staff for help.
